how many jw kids are homeschooled where you are?

its not very common here in the borough where i live.

i just found out on the grapevine that a girl i know is taking her kids out of our very good primary school because she feels the other children are having such a bad influence on her kids.

My worry with home school is that kids cant just be kids. Clearly from those who have commented you seem to be well adjusted individuals

I worry that the JW kids are further isolated. In their already small world, they arent able to play, learn about the world, develop social skills, learn to be around ather kids and develop the skills to take them into adulthood.

Clearly though, this isnt the case with us well adjusted members of JWN. xxxxxx

My son was bollocked (told off) because he coloured a picture of a xmas tree, but the borg can conceal 23,000 sex offenderds......double standards?

i know some who always questioned the elders, the society, and others because they were typically skeptical.. there are those who just seemed to want to believe whatever they were told.. i was more a skeptic, during my last decade.. .

My Grandma's dying...I found out by way of an impersonal text message.

yesterday at work i received a text message from my sister that my 91 yr old grandmother is unconscious, her organs are shutting down, and they're just keeping her comfortable.

she said that they moved her to a group home, and gave me the address.

i thanked her for letting me know.

Theyve already moved twice before to my knowledge because of "worldly influences".

While I dont disagree with homeschool per say, I was just wondering if this was common amongst JW kids?

I feel so sorry for her children...they are 4 and 6 years old.....poor little mites dont live in the real world and now they will be isolated even further.

Hi, I dont know your family history but Im guessing your no longer part of the close family circle....DFd? DAd?

Anyhow, I think that sending you a text was a cold and downright disgraceful thing to do.....could not 1 member of your family have had to common decency to at least phone you? Dreadful. Im sorry about your gran. You must do what you think is right not what they expect of you. Maybe you can remember your gran in your own special way, light a candle, or put some pictures together in a memory box.....

I think JWs are the only nutters I know who only want to help themselves....whats Christian about that? Bugger all! Im glad you helped those people, it was the right thing to do x
